  • Elevation- Keep the injured body part raised above the level of your heart whenever possible.

You can also use medications like Painkillers, such as paracetamol. Medications like these can ease the pain. Ibuprofen and other tablets or creams can also be used to ease pain and reduce further swelling. Aspirin is not recommended for children under 18 years old.
